The partial flow sensors inherits from BaseSensor and are then coupled with a medium in the Sensors package. Sensors are used in MML to make measured quantities appear clearly on the diagram, so as to avoid misplacing sensors, and also to handle unit conversion for non SI quantities before they are injected in the model.
